President’s Welcome:

Welcome CUPE Local 4891 Members!

My name is Janette Krajci and I am your elected President of CUPE Local 4891 at Regeneration Community Services. You are now part of our great union! Our local is part of Canada’s largest union, with more than 700,000 members across Canada. That strength and solidarity means you have a stronger voice with the employer, at the bargaining table and with politicians and legislators.

The Executive Committee and I are committed and responsible to you the members in the leadership of our local union. All of us are working people and together we can build on our collective knowledge and spirit of unionism to continue to work towards a harmonious work environment and to make workplace improvements.

Come to union meetings, share your workplace experiences with other members, involve yourself in committee work, the bargaining process, stewardship etc. There are opportunities to participate in our local and CUPE at large, where your voice can make a difference. It is through this process of participation that you will come to know how our local functions and experience the energy and successful determination of union solidarity.

It is a privilege to serve as your President and I am proud of the union our members have built.

In solidarity,

Janette Krajci, President CUPE Local 4891.
